Bought an RRS so back in the fold!

I have been looking for a new daily driver for a while, but its a budget driven purchase. Looked at 2012 X5s (had one and liked it) and half looked at L320 RRS.

Today I found a 2010 L320 V8 (non SC) Luxury in Alaska White / Ebony with 55k miles. I am not sure if they have the Luxury model designation in the UK? It drives great, its in great condition, full LRSH. It been on his car lot for about 3 months. It didn't come up in previous searches because it was outside my budget range.

Car sales here in WA attract a 6.5% stamp duty. Funnily enough, The stealer is only 2km from my house and originally had the equivalent of just north of 30k Pounds on the sticker. After long negotiations, 2 walk aways and a call 30 minutes before they closed to sign, I bought it for 21,400 Pounds cash drive away which includes the 6.5% stamp duty. I think I did OK but they wanted it gone so good for them and good for me. I should pick it up in a couple of weeks, I have a bit of business travel next week.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Well done probably makes his figures for the week look better too even if he sold it for a bit less profit. I've been in Copenhagen for a week and am quite surprised at the number of Jaguar Land Rover products and especially Jaguar XE's I have seen here despite there being huge sales taxes on luxury cars 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

VIN decoder says Alaska White. 1st registered July 10, not sure of build date. Being 5.0L non supercharged, it seems to be quite rare. 1 owner, bought new. He came on a 457 visa + 1x extension then sold the car back to the original supplying dealer when he left Oz. Smooth engine, plenty of go. Have to admit to being mildly excited, it's been a while since I had an RRS and this one looks nice for a runaround car. Photos when I get it.

Collected the daily driver runaround RRS today. The 5.0 V8 is so smooth and with 276kW (370 HP) its no slouch. I have to say that the "new" L320 interior is just streets ahead of my old 08 and 09 models, its what it should have been. Everything works really well and its more intuitive than the old black radio style interior.

Having had a cruise around, enjoying the armchair driving position, I may be hooked again..... Censored . Maybe when I have to go down to 1 car, I might think of an SVR....

Pics when it gets light tomorrow.

I'm having therapy for that Zilchy.

Apart from the M3 which no one else touches or drives, I just take my wife's car and my RRS to the local Magic Car Wash Cafe where I can have a coffee and read the paper while the car is being cleaned. They go every couple of weeks and get a polish about every 3rd visit. I guess that's why I gave a daily runaround car as well as the M3.
