Removing Front Bumper

While trying to maneuver around a car parked in my drive, my car rolled forward and touched the entrance of my garage taking a lot of paint off the front left bumper. So the car will not be off the road I want to take the bumper off and just take it in to the painters for repair. I also need to take the rear hatch air spoiler in to get repainted because you Brits do not use proper UV stable paint in painting our cars. Rolling Eyes

So are there any special tricks, or things to be careful of in taking the front bumper off and taking the rear hatch air spoiler off?

Thanks

On cars used in the UK with our salty winter roads the lower bolts for the front bumper are usually seized solid and shear off. Fix is to spend a couple!e of hours drilling out the remains then re-tapping and replace with stainless cap heads and penny washers.

The rear spoiler is easy to remove but use a big towel to protect the roof as you fiddle about with the screen washer tube and electrical connectors. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

There are 2 screws under each wheel arch and a row of screws and bolts underneath, the ends need a sharp pull outwards. The headlights come off with 2 lift up clamps on each light and a connector, the front grille comes off with a row of clips at the top then a sharp pull forward, exposing a row of bolts along the top of the bumper.
