Hello mark
Did you have just a map update or software and map. On my previous RRS one of the update discs had a full software update with the map update(think it was 2010 update). But the two consecutive updates were just the map (2012-2013 and 2015-2016)
Have you possibly updated a map and not software? So the system struggles to cope.
I may be wrong but it's worth looking into. MY12 RRS HSE

You say updated, updated to when, this can happen when a road or motorway has been modified and the satnav is following the route of the old road. There are a lot of counterfeit copies about!

I thought that from 2011/12 they went to a hard drive and the discs were no longer released by land rover but navtec still made them for volvo subaru etc but not land rover Wink

I think Landrover stopped supporting the nav updates (not good for a 60k plus motor) but the updates are available if you look hard enough. The RRS has a lot in common with ford.
Some with earlier nav may need the sw update on the later range rover discs, to enable some of the non LR nav updates.
All my nav updates were genuine, honest guvnor. 😇 MY12 RRS HSE
