Wery loud radio interference while driving

hei

I have an my10 RRS and while driving today the "radio" system turned on a sound like radio interference at full volum. i tried to turn of the radio system, but it lowered the sound some, but not much. then i tried to stop the car. but the sound stil continued.
i was not so far away from home so i drives home and disconnected the battery for 3 min, and connected again. then all was normal.

how to deal with this issue, do any of you know how to fix this issue??
Sorry for my bad english. Shocked

Had it in a Discovery, radio wouldn't turn off.
needed a software update Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

Hi
Did the radio turn on when driving then?? or was the problem that the radio not shut down, when the car was turned off??

Think I'm going to try an upgrade to.
Is it the IIDTool the way to go or is the best solution to go to the dealer and get a upgrade there? Embarassed

Mine used to do this occasionally. Wasn't there a software update for the issue? I'll have a look to see if I can find the TSB number. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

Hei
Update: I was in contact with Gap diagnostics, and they send me a new updated file to the audio system, and it seems to cure the issue, for now, I haven't been running the car so much after the new firmware was uploaded. Finger crossed Smile
Quite nice this IID tool Thumbs Up
