The pricing seems pretty good too, as per your other thread. 2017 MY17 SDV6 SE

Yes I put these up so members could see that the parts have not changed from older models. Replacement discs supplied from Sydney at $170 pair which beat Australian OME by a long way. I will be ordering the bits soon. Interesting the older models did not complain of brake squeal and they had the same brakes?? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Ordered full front rear rotors pads and sensors , what a bargain 350 quid for OME parts a big surprise after my Touareg parts. Should have them by the week end and will do the fronts which will then mean I have a spare set of discs after I skim the original fronts for future use. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Are you doing this to resolve the problem you mention in your "few annoying issues" thread? 2017 MY17 SDV6 SE

Yes will replace the front disc's and then skim to old ones which still have plenty of life. next time I can then swap out and skim the one I am putting in. This should last me for about 100,000 k's. Can't be bothered arguing about the current issue with the dealer. Still waiting for my turbo though. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Got my replacement parts today and after work thought I would throw the new rotors on ! Big surprise I could not budge the retaining bolts so will need to get a bigger hammer? Anyway will borrow the gear required next week and do the change, thought a quick 1/2 hour job but now looks like a project. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

On mine there was an additional pin across the centre section of the pads. Much larger diameter than the two others, and secured by a nut. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I've read on another forum (rangerovers.net) that there is a TSB - might even be a recall - for discs and pads on the MY 2014 RRS. Does anyone have any knowledge of this in the UK ?

Might be to do with brake squeal. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Did you think there was a TBS or recall for break squeal ? I've never had that problem
