Re Engine System Fault

Hi Lads
Couldn't seem to add this to my original post for some reason Confused Had a smoke test done on the Sport and all seems ok with Intercooler /hoses etc.
Had the Codes read again as below

P0405 Egr Sensor A circuit low Pending
P140A Egr Sensor C circuit low Intermittent
P0234 Turbo Overboost condition Pending
P132B Turbo Boost Control solenoid-circuit range/performance permanent.
P1335 Egr Throttle position sensor Min/Max stop performance Pending
P0404 Egr control circuit Range/Performance Pending.

Again I take it the EGR faults are due to these being blanked off and shouldn't be causing the Engine system or Special Programs Off faults. Would P132B point towards the Turbo Actuator Solenoid being faulty and could this cause the Limp Mode conditions. Can't remember if this can be changed seperately.

Cheers Jock Thumbs Up

132B normally indicates a seized actuator, but you said it's free

It's not a boost leak, otherwise a smoke test would have shown that up

Beginning to look more and more like a faulty actuator, which comes as part of a new turbo...

EGR codes can be ignored if blanked Thumbs Up

Re Engine System Fault

Hi Lads

A quick update not sure if this makes any sense or not hopefully someone can help. Hadn't really noticed till now but these faults are still coming up when I have the car in auto and push it on ,but if I have the car in manual shift the fault doesn't appear to come up when I push it on. Will try more testing tomorrow and report further. Does anyone have any ideas regarding this.

Hope to get the car to Mikey later on in June , but my son is heading off with it next week and I wondered if there was anything else I could check before he goes after noticing this.

Thanks Jock Confused Thumbs Up

Can't help with this fault, but I have a couple of engineers visiting me so I'll ask them for any ideas. John

Sorry for the delay Jock, one of them is looking into it, but had no idea or anything listed in his "idiot" fault guide as he called it.
There will be a delay unfortunately, as I've just changed hospitals once again. Sad Big Cry John
