gearbox flush recommendations

I need the gearbox oil changed, and there are 2 places that do it about an hour from me. Alltrack 4x4 and JGS 4x4. Travelling time isn't an issue but I would like recommendations. Is one better than the other, they both equally as good, Has anyone had their gearbox serviced by them and had good or bad experiences.
My car is a 2005 2.7 with the 6 speed box and 96000 on the clock, so I am looking to get it done in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for your input.

JGS 4x4 did my gearbox flush late last year. No complaints whatsoever, the guy that does the flush is very friendly and encourages you to watch the process with a brew and will happily answer any questions while he does the work. He will also bleed some of your old fluid off into a glass jar so you can see what state it is and compare it to the new stuff going in.
The fluid removed from mine at 60,000 miles was black but didn't smell too burnt.
Your gearbox ecu will be flashed on completion of the flush and you should feel smoother changes as I did.

Was charged £260.00

Having the software in the box updated could be a big plus. To be honest I really don't think the previous owner before my dad ( it was a car sales mans own car) ever had any software updates done. It was serviced by the garage that did all of his cars. As it turned out they weren't so good. They MOT'd it when he bought it, 3 months later I noticed both the sidelights wasn't working. When I took the holders out there wasn't any bulbs in either of them. So I think I may have to look into having it all checked for software updates too.

He may not mean an update.

Maybe reset the learning after fluid change.

+1 for JGS 4x4.

I had a gearbox flush, both axles and transfer box drained and refilled and a remap done by them last November. I was invited to watch the work take place, given a cup of tea end all my silly questions answered. The guy (cant remember his name) was very friendly and obviously knows what he is doing.

Highly recommended Thumbs Up

Squizzel, sidelights? Were these the "side-marker" lights in the orange reflectors in the front and rear corners? If so they don't have lamps in them unless the car is a USA/NA spec car. They are required by local construction regs there to have orange side marker lights but not in Europe so they don't put lamps in them at the factory. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

No they were the actual white side lights. I wired the orange ones up in my disco 2, they looked really good. Might do the same with this one. But it was the bulbs that were completely missing out of the side lights.

Gearbox flush done today, and the oil was black. We were allowed to watch the whole job done from start to finish. There was also an additive put in as standard, and I asked for some Dr Tranny to be added, not that I had a problem, just as preventative maintainance. The drive back was almost all motorway (64 miles) and everything was fine. As I got home I had a vibration start, from around 15 miles an hour upwards. This came through the body of the car and lasted almost all of the rest of the day. Then as soon as it came it went again and so far has stayed away. never experienced it before, So fingers crossed everything has returned to normal.

If that vibration starts again stop the car and try touching the rear wheels to see if either of them are hot. I had a vibration from the rear of the car and it turned out to be the nearside park brake sticking on. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

I will try that if it happens again. I had just came down the motorway, gone home (obviously hand brake on) was there about 20 minutes then off out again. That's when it started, so it is a possibility. The hand brake was rebuilt 2 1/2 years ago but its done a lot of standing about since.
