Switzerland 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
New RRS Owner

happy new year from Switzerland,

been a silent guest in the past and let me tell you a lot of your
comments and experience made me buying a RRS S/C, also considered
the Cherokee SRT-8 and the X5.

coming from the 'italian sector' I owned almost every possible Alfa
Romeo from 1990 until now. also used to have a maserati 3200 and
4200 which for practicable reason I traded in for the RRS.

My daily ride is a BMW 535d and the range is basically my wifes
toy.

looking forward to exchange experience and learn from you all!

(here in Switzerland 'basic fuel is 95 octane and my consumption on the
RRS so far roughly 15 mpg). feel free to frequently check my fuel
consumption report, German though but gives you an impression

so, now time for some shots (winter equipped, Stormers in summer)

cheers
Iwan

Belgium 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Grüezi hoi! saluti!

Nice to have another "continental" on the forum. Knowing the Swiss and their "means based" system of determining road fines, all I can suggest is to be careful with your new S/C - you won't notice you've gone north of 160 kph as easily as in an Alfa! Laughing But it will come almost as quickly. Welcome IWAN

Do you get different alloys in Switzerland & I also notice you don't have the AAC = Active Cruise Control .... which is standard on the supercharged ?

Switzerland 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

thank you all for the warm welcome.

@MDP, well this is a pre-owned Range, I typically do not carry the
first year deprecation. so i don't know about those alloys, they are
19 inch and have winter tyres on it.

as for the AAC, just checked the current price list, and it seems
that this is a USD 2,200 option (together with cruise control), funny
enough, i have the cruise control installed.....

cheers
Iwan

Cruise is standard on all models - ACC is an option on all models in Belgium including the S/C. This is likely the same in other markets as well. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge
