I would like to achieve the same, but there are no hard buttons on MY17, and holding the forward parking sensor at the bottom of the screen does nothing. Anyone with any ideas how to make it stay on with MY17?

Hi Donny,
On my MY16 there is a menu where you can select parking sensors and set them to automatic and then they come on "automatically" when you travel under a certain speed, both front and rear. Thumbs Up

Thanks, but I've just checked again and there's nothing like that on my MY17. There is a virtual button on the touch sensitive screen to turn them on, and that's it as far as I can see.

Donny,
Just been out to the car, there is this screen

Select Auto Parking Aid

And then this screen comes up

Select On and that should be it. Parking sensors come on automatically. Thumbs Up

Thanks for going to all this trouble! I'll have another look and see if I can find it.

I certainly haven't got 'Stealth'! Shocked Does that make you invisible to the police? Laughing

Definitely not there, I'm afraid. Sad Is yours MY17? My screen doesn't even look like that. The screen with 4 x 4, Eco Data, Ambient Lighting, and Cameras is there but hasn't got the other things. I've checked the instruction manual, and these are ALL the options you can have (if available on your car).

"From the HOME screen, touch the right arrow or swipe the touch screen to the left, to access the EXTRA FEATURES screen. See TOUCH SCREEN HOME MENU

Extra features can be enabled or disabled, or the settings adjusted. Touch the extra feature to launch the required application or settings screen:

Eco Data: The eco data system is designed to help the driver maximise fuel economy by providing vehicle data and driving tips. Real-time eco data can also be displayed in the instrument panel.

Cameras.

InControl Apps.

Live: Part of InControl Pro Services.

Seats.

Valet.

Contacts.

Voice.

Bluetooth.

4x4i.

Tow Bar."

Hi Donny, no I have a May 2016 SVR, but I know you have the different screen layout but thought it might have similar software. Have you got perpendicular parking? Maybe it could be something to do with that? I have everything except TV.
As you can see, there are 4 screens that I can sweep through before actually going into any of them.( 4 dots in bottom of screen represents which screen your on).
Thumbs Up

Yes, I've got Perpendicular Parking (and virtually every other option and accessory available!). It seems bizarre that they've removed the option you've got. Confused

Stealth mode if enabled is activated by switching touch screen off then if in the night time the interior switch illumination and instrument panel back lighting automatically reduces to minimum light levels. Very Happy

Donny done some more checking,

On the touch screen select the SETTINGS icon to access the parking aid settings pop up menu. Select AUTOMATIC PDC ON
this should get what you're after. Operates when vehicle speed falls below 10mph. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Again, thanks for trying, but nothing like that is available in 'Settings'. I'd already tried before, but I've just tried again to double double check. In settings, the only remotely useful choice I get is 'Features', and none of them relate to parking.

These are the Settings options:

SYSTEM SETTINGS

Touch the settings icon from the HOME screen, followed by All Settings and then Features.

The Features settings menu is divided into categories.

Home.

Navigation.

Media.

Phone.

Climate.

Seats.

Connectivity.

Cameras.

InControl Apps.

Live: Part of InControl Pro Services.

Voice.

Bluetooth.

4x4i.

Touch to display the list of settings for the required system.

NOTES
The list varies, depending on the specification of the vehicle.

And then

Other than that I can't help you anymore Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
