2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Grill Question

Guys,

I am having the surround of my standard HSE grill colour coded so its probably a stupid question but I imagine the grill can be separated??

The reason I ask is that I think the standard grill colour coded, with a SC badge will look good on a Java Black, but if I am wrong I will probably put the SC grill into the Colour coded surround. Can I do this??

Andy

The grill does come in 2 parts which are heat welded together. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Landrover must break the welds when they paint the surround?

Guys,

I have a standard grill but I would like to chnage the badge to the SC.

It does not appear that you can remove it front behind so to speak, do you simply pick it off the front??

I have the surrounds painted but I want to see if the SC inserts or the standard dark ones look best but with the black badges.

This is what I have. The nice thing is that Carstyling Studio ship the colour coded grill with an S/C (black) badge. Frankly, on a Java car, the Java/Zambesi silver grill looks best - same for the vents. IMHO anyway... 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Folks,

I am having the surround of my grill painted but I was wondering how to reattach the grill section since the welds have to be broken?

How do car stylin studio do it?

Any feedback much appreciated.

Andy

Use a big hot soldering iron or a heated knife / flat blade
