Diagnostics - is IID tool the only answer

Hi,
I'm a new forum member and new RRS owner with 2011 3.0TDi HSE. I've just got the Telestart kit to use a remote to start up the fuel burning heater which I will be installing over the weekend. The problem is is activating the software through the car config. I understand this can be done using an IID tool but don't know anyone with one. Can any other diagnostic tool be used to turn on the time climate and FBH radio call start?

Welcome. Smile

There are other tools that can do it, yes, but if you're buying, the IID BT is certainly the tool of choice. Thumbs Up

If you're looking for someone to enable it, look no further than Flack. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Thanks for the tip. From what I've read would seem a good investment.
