i have a similar problem it almost feels like a clutch slip is the best way to describe it, mainly what feels like 2-3 when just increasing speed steadily it has almost 2 stages to what feels like 2nd then catches itself up and get into 3rd. I've been advised to try a gearbox oil change i had a similar problem on an audi s4 2011 but that was the mechatronic unit. hopefully nothings serious.
mine is a 2014 4.4 sdv8 with 72,000 full range range history.
thanks in advance

If you're considering a gearbox oil change, it might be worth going the extra mile and having it power-flushed whilst you're at it. At 72,000 miles there is a certain wisdom on here that this would be a good investment. Robin
