Had a look at this and yes there are good savings to be made, but, not all options are available.
HUD, Deployable Side Steps, Mudflaps to name just a few. I know I'm being a bit critical Embarassed , but if you are paying so much for a car (SVR in particular) you surely want it just as you would like and personally I wanted to have everything I liked because I will not be changing this car sometime soon, in fact after a couple of months of ownership I can't see me changing it at all Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Lyonhead once you have made contact with the Main Dealer you can add all these small options you mention as its no different to how you would have ordered yours. Thumbs Up

Happy days, the intention of the thread is working then!! It seems you can still have what you want as you are put in contact with a dealer who can obviously alter the spec. Saying that, I still haven't had a call from Orange wheels after submitting my build but the autoebid seems pretty good anyway... Thank you...

that's how it works there is no deal in a contribution becuase it's taken back with interest and lower future value.

I'm happy if no deals are given as it keeps resale higher. I see no reason to discount something in demand such as a svr to be honest it doesn't make business sense to discount.

I think i've been stiffed...

So I originally had 1.5k off the 16.5 car at a time there was no discount at all. April time. There were no deposit contributions from LR at all.

Now they have given me 1.5k off "themselves" and 1.5k deposit contribution. But the resale has gone down 4.5k. Surely I should be getting 3k from LR and then 1.5k from the local dealer? Making a total of 4.5k discount.

Cheers for any advice

Alex

Ok so i ordered a MY16.5 SVR in June 16 and there was no contribution. A couple of months later they added 3k contribution to the MY16.5 but no contribution on the MY17 SVR.

At the time i asked if i could switch deals to make the most of the 3k and as you said basically the monthly's stay the same as the GFV goes down.

As there was no contribution on the MY17 it was my assumption that this was due to the facelift car and therefore the MY16.5 and below would lose more money over the MY17.

I can see the MY17 SVR doesn't have contribution but the one your looking at does again so perhaps sales are not as good for land rover as they once were.

BREXIT at a guess has slowed sales in the UK especially and that has made GFV drop also.

I don't think your been stiffed i just think its market conditions.

What is the difference between the total amount you are due to pay now under the finance vs. your previous deal?
