RRS 2010 TDV8 Bonnet cable feels slack can't open

I can't open the bonnet on my RRS. Im pretty sure the cable is still connected to the bonnet open handle. The only thing I can think of is I might have disturbed something when I installed my new grill a few weeks ago. Censored
Has anyone got any tips how I can open it up?

I finally sorted this issue the little junction box behind the LH headlight had burst open. Closed it and put cable ties around it to secure, works fine now.
