Software updates and Steering tight

Hi Guy's

I am dropping my RRS off at my dealer for a few days from tomorrow, can anyone comment on the following?

1. Are there any software updates for the RRS V6 and if so what are they called and how to I make sure I get them?

2. I have been finding my steering sometimes feels tight at low speeds?

G'day,

Depends on your VIN. Some of the older RRS TDV6 had a Vehicle Enhancement Program (VEP) carried out on them (D037 was the number from memory). This included a bunch of replacements (air compressor etc) + software upgrades. If your car is fairly new, I would just ask your stealer if there are any recent upgrades. They normally do them as a matter of course during services.

As for the steering, a bit strange as it is variable speed power assistance which means it provides more assistance at lower speeds. I have had my steering rack replaced, but not due to tightness. Mine had an annoying squeal. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof
