Exactly what I thought.
My symptoms are still the same. Which is the front sounder makes a noise on startup, which could mean the rear sounder is faulty

But I can't find it Big Cry

Yes that does help.

And and advantage is you can change the volume somehow.

I know you can adjust phone, satnav volume etc. through the menu but not sure if parking sensor volume is in there, will have a look later.

The plot thickens!

Great piece of information there.
According to that diagnosis I posted earlier, it says that "if there is a beep from the front sounder, there could be a fault with the rear sounder?" But that can't be so when the system uses the rear speakers?
I think that this only refers to the earlier cars where there is a sounder next to the module behind the NSR trim panel.

At least I'm not going mad Bow down

Still can't seem to diagnose it though! main dealer beckons Crying or Very sad

Just thought I'd post and draw a line under this fault, to possibly help someone else.

I got hold of a local guy who specialises in LR diagnostics, but he only came up with the same fault code that I already had.
He checked on Topix and emailed LR for me and they narrowed it down to 3 possible faults
1. Wiring harness continuity between the Module and the switch
2. Switch fault
3. Module fault

Checked the continuity all ok
Bought a new switch panel and fitted that, fault still there. Bought a new Module and reset, all working again.

So there you go, a new Module at a cost of £128 + vat and it's all good again.

Thanks for your help guys Thumbs Up

United States 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zambezi Silver

I know this an old post but I had this display shown on a car I bought. I tracked it down to a bad parking sensor on the front bumper. Apparently any faulty sensor front or back will stop the camera working. I also noticed that as my battery ran down while messing with the car with the ignition on it stopped working again although the parking warnings were still working which they weren't initially. As soon as I drove the car and got the battery charged up it started working again, so it is quite voltage sensitive.

If you unplug a rear parking sensor, will the camera and sensor system stop working?

For hopefully someone else’s benefit.
1. If a single sensor is defective the entire parking / reverse camera system shuts off.
2. If a single sensor is plugged out, the system also shuts off
3. LR wanted over £100 for a new sensor, Amazon wanted £16.22

Thank you for putting this info on the forum I've had the rear camera problem for over 0ne and a half years I've replaced the camera but it's still not working.
I didn't think of the bumper sensors so maybe that's my problem all along.

It could be any one of the 8 sensors that takes the system out, in my case it was a wire in the loom to the front inner left so I can a new cable and the system was back online.

The fault code was identifying the inner sensor so I cont checked the 2 cables to the parking module and found an open link.
