Having secured a suitable donor car, I am now on the lookout for a TDV8 Sport

Ideally, an accident/vandal damaged one, as I don't need it for the bodywork/interior, but needs to be mechanically sound, complete and running

And, as the recent posts have shown, the TDV8 is and I'll be dirt cheap now

There is a dickhead on here Mikey, who I presume you are referring to , who must want to get rid of his pile of RRS cheap, by the comments he is posting. I believe he mention 38k of them up for sale on Autotrader, so plenty around, although I struggled to find them.  John

There are one or two Sports on the Copart breakers/ accident damaged site ,not sure if any would suit as a few are damaged on the front end, Maybe worth a look you would probably be able to gauge the potential damage from the pictures.

Dalcrue don't seem to have a website now as they used to have an odd Sport in too. Don't know if this is any help.

The problem with Copart, is at I would need to go and see the car myself, to make sure the engine was OK before bidding.

I have spoken to a few people who put cars into Copart, and "engineer" small fault into the car, to mask major mechanical faults...

Its just I knew I had seen a few when I was surfing through things on the net. Wasn't sure if there was any that had been shunted in the tail end and had been put in due to accident damage ,rather than faults.

Are Dalcrue still in business Mike or have they went bust, Knew they used to have a website but couldn't find it now.
