I have had 2 situations in the last week where my car had continuous severe (read frequent and loud) crackling and popping sounds from all speakers. The crackling and popping sounds did not change whether I used Radio, DVD , or media inputs, changed the volume or turned the audio system off. The last time it happened I drove straight to the dealer. But I turned the engine off when I got there and of course the problem did not reappear when I tried to demonstrate the issue.

My car is a 2010 TDV8 with premium audio (HK Logic 7) and rear seat entertainment system but no TV. It has not reappeared the last 4 times I have driven the vehicle (2 days).

Can anyone help?
