United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Bonatti Grey

17 cars in 18 years of driving.
First car was a 1973 Mini. Most fun was a 1989 Audi Coupe and I kept this longer than any other. Fastest was a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo. Most unreliable was a 1993 VW Passat Estate. Best all rounder was a Merc E230 Estate. Best ever is the Range Rover Sport. I just hope it doesn't end up beeting the VW Passat as the most unreliable! Laughing Matt

RRS ownership for 1 yr, then D3 for 2 yrs. Then cut back to old bangers and working my way back up through two Peugeots in 6 months. Now got Saab 9-5 2.3t and enjoying the performance!

Been driving 16 years - and have probably only had about 10 cars I think. First car was a horrendous 1987 Hyundai Stella... cost me 500 notes and the window motors all needed replacing within the week.

My favourite car was my M3 - very sad to see that go. Going back into the dark ages, my favourite "early twenties" car was my Carlton GSi3000 - no laughing at the back, it was a really good car. It was me against the RS Turbos in those days... happy memories Laughing

Not much chance of beating much away from the lights in my HSE, but given the beating my license took from owning the M3, that's no bad thing!!

Cheers

Currently around twenty different cars, started out with a Datsun 100A Embarassed ( actually had two of these), had all sorts since then but moved over to four wheel drives about twelve years ago.

Very fond memorys of 3.0 Litre and 2.8I Ford Capris and roundabouts.

Also had more motorbikes than you can shake a stick at, not had one for about four years now but both my boys have one for weekend fun. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Just had a recount and it's 46, but that does include supplemental cars (i.e. provided for other half and my occasional use). But then I am 45 so I've had 28 years of opportunity. The one thing I have not done is added up the depreciation............that could be a sobering exercise Crying or Very sad

... if I'd have just invested all that money full stop... Instead of just spending it on selection of depreciating assets.

How about how many Land Rovers have you had. I learnt to drive in a 109" called Bertha - all old Landies have a name. She accompanied me through University. Since then I have owned 2 series 3's, 1 90", 3 defenders, 4 Discoveries and 4 Range Rovers (and now have a RRS on order). Can anyone beat that .....?

Probably not!

My Series 3 was called The Wombat, and I'm still not sure why. My Classic didn't get a name... L319 D4 HSE
