Welcome to the forum.

You could do a search on here but the general perceived wisdom seems to be that they're not worth the scrap value.

Might be better off with a hidden switch to the fuel pump or something else like that.

Hello,

Thank you for your welcome, I have done a search of the forum and didnt find a definitive size, I now know it is a medium.

I have Silver Disklok's on two of my other cars along with fuel cut off's, OBD disabled. The Disklok is a good visable deterrent certainly not scrap lol. Ideal to use on my daily car. 2006 RR Sport HSE 2.7 Java black

I had a medium disklok on MY13 RRS and was advised it was lot better than the bar type and may not stop a theft but would slow them down and being visible they would probably go for another easier target unless they specifically wanted yours

If you contact the supplier they should be able to advise in case it differs on your year

It gave me some peace of mind with the keyless thefts and now looks like I may need another for my DS Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

That is my thoughts, with a Disklok fitted it might just make someone move on to an easier target. I realise it is not the best way of preventing theft but as an additional measure I feel it is money well spent. 2006 RR Sport HSE 2.7 Java black

I have the "Stoploc" bar type visible off putting device - fits both my 1996 Defender and my 2015MY RRS, however the clamp that goes over the steering wheel rim can mark the leather of the RRS steering wheel if you leave it on for a couple of weeks. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
