It was field target shooting I was doing today with air rifles. We shoot 40 targets the area we have to hit varies from 15mm to 45mm at ranges from 8 -55yds.If you hit the disc it falls over. Smile

The white one is around 35 yds away, the disk 2p size, and the black one in the distance was 52yds a 40mm size disk,we use the scope to range find by adjusting the clarity.

Yeah, yeah.......but it still doesn't move Wink Whistle Rolling with laughter Ner Ner

I only jest, it just doesn't appeal to me in all honesty, much prefer a 'proper' shoot or clay's, but every ones different Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

i sort of know what you mean, i shoot clays and enjoy it, though i haven't been out for a while

I enjoy it, but the same traps, ends as same thing weekend after weekend, i need to get out to different locations for a bit of variety

i almost bought a air rifle, to get my 8year old son doing it with me, but never got round to it, but in the back of my head i was always thinking how much fun would it be plinking away at targets, would it be the same as clays after a while

All shooting is good,I enjoy lots of different disciplines,10m pistol & rifle, clays and being on the farms with the shotgun.
Ft appeals to me because I like the precision involved,ie.using your scope to judge the distance, then dialling in,judging the wind and not forget holding the gun on target.
A great stress reliever for me and the only time I forget about work Thumbs Up

That's one thing, a day clay bashing is a good stress reliever

I will get round to getting a air rifle anyway, and hopefully in time start getting time to get a permission to shoot on
