Air suspension fault

Hi
Looking for bit of advice 2006 hse sport has had new air compressor
But the suspension light has remained on the dash even after a diagnostic to clear
I'm told that due to new compressor it needs a software update costing £80 is that normal after having a new compressor ?
Many thanks

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

An AMK compressor needs a firmware update to work correctly

A replacement Hitachi/Dunlop unit does not Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

I think it all depends if you have fitted like for like or have had a newer Amk model fitted, if the latter is the case I think it is advised to prevent faults being generated. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
