I've now explored the handbook and know where the Add Blue goes in. Now to check and see what the opening looks like and make sure that I can add when required down the line. Will work out the right fluids for power steering ect , I think there is a fluid called dynamic control fluid which maybe power steering , auto trans or something similar??? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

I went to where the handbook said the adblue reservoir is supposed to be and guess what, another one of Land Rovers F ups. So does anyone know where this reservoir is ? I am not keen to have the service department service the car for ad blue replacement especially when it is very cheap to buy from the local service station.

Would you pay this price when you can buy for 20 pence a litre bulk ?

From memory, on top of the r/h wing as you look into the bonnet, to the right of the "dynamic" fluid tank. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

This issue is solved, despite being given a Brochure saying that my car has DEF , I have discovered that it does not. So I don't have to worry about Adblue and this is just great for me. Glad I have the SVD8 if it means missing the Adblue. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

I too am surprised there isn't a basic tool kit. I am going to put a small "roll" of tools together.

Are there a few standard sizes of bolts / torx bits used predominantly throughout the car? 2017 MY17 SDV6 SE

My SDV8 has AdBlue. It must be down to the difference in emission regulations. (Fancy joining the EU?).

not required for those who buy their cars brand new.
They wouldn't know in the majority, how to open the bonnet.
With full LR Assistance or AA provided service, plus three years warranty, no need to do any bolts and screws stuff

Extra weight for no use, rather like off road ability in many of them..... Very Happy Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4
