Airbag warning light

Got the airbag warning light show up this morning, did nothing different... just drove to work.

Is this common? could it be a faulty wire or fuse somewhere?

Have a poke around under the seats; particularly, the wire down the side to the seatbelt pretensioner. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Quite likely to be trapped or abraded wire under seats. Lots of information from searching on this site and Disco site. If you can read the full fault codes it can help identify which air bag, tensioner etc. Good luck! Mine turned out to be the drivers air bag - took it off and put cleaner on all the contacts and that resolved it.
