Freelander 2

When I went to pick up my car last night from my dealer - having just had the latest FIX for the front park distance control beeps done - I parked next to a new silver freelander2 - sorry no pics too dark. Looked so much better than the loaner I was returning !

Mrs S has now had a crawl all over the FL2 and has reached the same conclusions. Honestly, I'm amazed what a difference there is between the old and new FLs. And I reckon that 3.2 will shift as well.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Pel, that was my question to the dealer.............. the TD4 auto was always the best of the last generation and very popular with those who did venture offroad in their Freelanders. There are several farmers round here who have TD4 Steptronic Commercials after expensive clutch replacements resulting from offroad activities with their manual geared Freelanders............ I believe replacing a clutch on a manual Freelander takes a long time and costs a huge amount, good reasons for paying a bit more for the automatic version. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Wifey has a TD4 auto, having hated autos before my D3 she now wouldn't have anything else!
