2017 Range Rover Sport SVR to get more power ?

What are peoples thoughts on this ?

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/2017-ra...PCOMMDHP15

I am about to put down a deposit on on Wednesday with a 4 - 5 month wait on a SVR so probably get it start of September.

Based on the facelift roomer should I wait until march 17 and hope that I get a facelift car ? I'm more interested that features inside could get a update to compete with the Germans like the entertainment screen.

Thoughts on other features like uprated brakes ?

Dilemma I even have my car speced up ready for Wednesday.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Would make sense for the RRS SVR to get the same upgrade as the F Type SVR, both are really small volume production vehicles so to have a common engine output would save money. Face lift is all rumours and nothing substantial to go on, infotainment probable for 2017MY as it is already in Evoque and Dsicovery Sport as well as the face lifted XF and the new XE Jaguars. Thing is would you be prepared to pay the inflated price to get those 20 extra horses as I'm sure that LR will not underprice the upgrade and you could probably go to a "tuner" or "chipper" and achieve the same result for a lot less money? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I agree if the infotainment was due in MY17 which I think is September delivery cars then that would be great.

20hp increase on its own isn't that much of a big deal I suppose would just be a shame to miss the facelift by 6 months.

Not sure what will change, but interesting that I think the car photographed here is one of the original development cars.

I was in the same boat and worried about facelift etc but with my SVR due in 4 weeks I dont really care anymore, if you beleive all the speculation you will never get into one or enjoy one and probably end up aiting foreever for a very minor change. Plus with the SVR's holding such strong residuals im going to enjoy it now and if it does change and its a change I want ill sell and get another, lifes too short.... Thumbs Up Current
