2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Transporting RRS's

Today on the M6 and M42/M40 I passed a few transporter loads of Land Rovers and there seem to be an odd mix of shrink wrapped and not shrink wrapped RRS's on some of them. Does anyone know what qualifies your RRS for shrink wrapping for transport and why your lovely new car is not shrink wrapped. The only thing I can think of is that it depends on the final market that the car is destined for, it was the same with FFRR L405's and Discovery 4's, some were wrapped and other not. Could it be that cars for some export markets like the Gulf or USA get special treatment whereas those destined to Europe don't? Even the Corris and Firenze SVR's that were on one transporter were not wrapped yet the D4 on the same trailer was........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not these days, the cars mostly get shipped in specialised car carriers, basicall 12 storey high floating carparks that are totally enclosed, but it could be to stop settling on them inside the ship. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Perhaps some were new and others are already used / demo vehicles.
