New car and the detailing begins

I have just bought myself a RRS and it has been looked after but not in the way in like, so the long hard work has started to correct the paint and remove marks and swirls here what I have done.

power wash car

then used fallout remover

followed with rinse and snow foam then rinse again

and then a two bucket wash and rinse

followed by clay car to remove remainder of contamination

then out came the DAS PRo and the Scholl s17

once that wash done I wiped panels down with diluted IPA to remove any polish residue.

and seal wax with collinite Liquid Insulator Wax 845 for winter as t

he durability is quite good.

Looking good Mattay Cool

I need to get me some Scholl polishes. Have heard good things about them, especially on a DA. I've stuck with the Menzerna range for a few years as they've been good to me, even on my BMW E46 with a top coat as hard as glass!

Cheers..

Ian

cheers Ian

I like the scholl range as for landover/rangerover paint it is medium to hard so the scholl s17 is a good polish compound on blue pad to remove those pesky swirl marks and you could go that extra step to refine even more try the scholl s40 or meguiers 205 on orange pad.

regards

Matt
