Mine is a MY15 RRSII Dynamic Hybrid, faultless since January and I have already 35.000 on the clock.

Apart from the disappointing fuel slap which is quite easy to avoid by keeping the tank level above 1/3rd full I have been delighted not just with the quality but also the economy of my 2015MY HSE Dynamic. After the awful build quality of my last Evoque faith in Land Rover's QC has been restored. And an RRS2 HSE Dynamic is sooooooooooo much fun to play hooligans in now and again! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The RRS2 (L494) is a fantastic car and, in my opinion, the best in it's class. Some dealerships can be a little hit and miss but when you find a good one (I use Guy Salmon Land Rover, Northampton, who have always been outstanding) you will find that the service you receive is second to none!

I have had my MY2016 RRS for 4 weeks now.. It drives very well overall.. I am very disappointed with the quality/choice made by LR for plastics, the gloss black outer A frame finishers micro scratch just by looking at them!. The seat leather quality/fitting is way worse than my previous 2013 HSE Black and may have to be brought up with dealer as is crap for this level/cost of vehicle. Sometimes get a clunk first thing in the morning from the gearbox when vehicle cold, but that now has recently stopped in the last 2 days. Fuel slap, not heard it yet.

This is a prime example of how Land Rover deal with QC complaints on vehicles that are still under manufacturers warranty. Imagine how they deal with issues on cars that are out of warranty.......

When you drive an RRS II its how it makes you feel. It is such an awesome car. If you buy an XC90 or anything similar you will regret it from the first time you see a RRS !! There are issues yes, but I had BMWs with loads of issues. |

I guess that if you don't mind spending £70K and end up with a car with problems that you don't care about and accept as the norm, then you should be just fine...... |
