Lock Cars with Key in Ignition

I have a need to have some items continue to operate from 12v sockets when the vehicle is locked and secure. Yes I can run new wiring and set up continuous but looking at other options first.

So can the cars systems be programmed to allow the car to be locked using the second key fob with a key in the ignition and switched to the accessory position.

Thanks

Don't know if it's possible to lock the car with a key inside but you can remove the rear accessory socket relay out and jump it using a wire. The sockets behind centre console and in the boot then stay live even when the car is locked and sleeping. I wouldn't class this solution as running new wiring because it is easier than that but it isn't "programming" the car either. Somewhere in the middle.

Search along the lines of "socket permanent live" on this and Disco3 forum for detailed information. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
