United States 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
New member with RRS Supercharged

Hi All, new member joining from USA. Recently picked up a 2006 RRS Supercharged, Java Black. Previously owned a 2005 Disco 3 and a 2012 RR Evoque (wifey's car)

So far:

    * Swapped sidemarkers to clear
    * Swapped steering wheel to Nappa Leather (2009 style)
    * Refinished all 4 wheels to Sparkle Silver (they were painted black by prior owner, and were in need of attention)
    * Upgraded Navigation DVD to newest availalble
    * Replaced all fluids (Front/Rear diff, transfer case, brake fluid, coolant)
    * Replaced LCA bushings and control arm bushings

Not planning any major changes, but open to suggestions and recommendations. Looks like a lot of experienced members here and welcome any feedback on maintenance, mods, and upgrades.

Thanks. It has 65K miles and is very clean inside and out. Just needed a little TLC. 2006 RRS Supercharged

This is so true. I saw a few RRS prior to purchasing this one, and they were just a mess inside and out.

I try to take good care of my vehicles. Looks like the prior owner(s) of this one did as well. Just needed a few maintenance items and cosmetic fixes.

Several co-workers and neighbors already commented that they thought it was brand new. Not bad for a vehicle nearly 10 years old. Cool 2006 RRS Supercharged

Australia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

Great to see another one. RRS's seem to be a bit short on the ground over here in Australia.
Mine came with non std 22" Supercharged wheels . I have just obtained some 2015 wheels and tyres to fit for when I get out of suburbia.
The only other things I have done is add sidesteps(running boards) as some of my family are short. Plus I have recently installed a 7" Navman GPS in front of the existing GPS. The orginal does not have hardly any of the functions of a modern GPS and the maps were out of date.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine.

Nice looking Cracka Thumbs Up

Surprised how well these things can take a corner, despite the weight and high center of gravity.

Still adjusting to the size. I've been driving MINIs primarily for the past 10 years. Laughing 2006 RRS Supercharged

Very nice example, JackMac. I enjoy my 2006 for 3 months now and (by your sig) you seem to have a similar taste (I loved my JCW).
In regards of what next - just colour-code the door handles, side sills and the gray rear hatch panel, the one with "Range Rover" lettering. Regards etc.,

Wojtek
