how to upgrade

thinking i want more from the navigation screen so i just want to know what i need for an upgrade things i would like are -

iPhone connection to play music
reverse camera
tv
navigation on the move

whats the best thing to do guys?

1) Aux socket. AFAIK, there's no way of controlling the iPhone from the car, I'm afraid.

2) 3 options -

    A: Enable in the CCF and switch the screen to FFRR mode. This will screw up your bluetooth etc. though.

    B: Manually view the feed from the hidden menu. You'd have to access it each time you want to use it.

    C: Fit a GVIF interface. Would allow an automatic camera with the added ability to connect other sources.


3) The OEM system can be retrofitted if deemed worthwhile. Alternatively, option C above could be used to view an aftermarket system of your choice. Wink

4) This just needs to be enabled. You will need to have firmware version 1040 or higher loaded in the Multi Media Module; this is updated only by using a navigation disc - in short, you need a 2007 disc or later. Geoff is your nearest sponsor and can enable this for you (his username is "geoff.").

4) isn't just a case of being enabled, it needs the 80minute nav on the move software update.

Your best bet Wayne is for GVIF, add a TV module with media player for the iPod. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
