Satnav failure...

Hi all
This morning my display screen came up looking like a spectrum computer loading tapes from the 80s.

Turned the car off and back on again, the normal landrover screen display came up and then all the system bits worked fine. All except the satnav - it goes to the driving warning screen but when you press 'agree' nothing happens. Also the map display on the brightness screen says no data available.

No issues with Bluetooth or any other warnings. Stereo all fine

Is there a way of resetting the gps or nav system? Or was the lines on the display the unit frying itself.......??

Anyone seen this before?

Cheers for any thoughts

It's usually the nav DVD drive (under passenger seat). Either the disk is trashed or the optical mechanism has failed.
Try a different disk first, or take it our and clean it. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible
