I am in exactly the same dilemma. Can't decide whether to go for Pimento seats or Ebony seats. Also undecided whether to go for the Santorini or Carpathian. Seen Causeway Grey (Carpathians predecessor) and Stealth Pack looks awesome on it, gets lost on Santorini IMO.

I very nearly went for Pimento/Ebony on my previous RRS but it was the big swathe of RED on the dash that was a bit too much for me. If it was just the seats and maybe some subtle bits in the door cards then it'd work but personally I think it's a bit too much.

Also, I prefer if it was more a deeper red like the Iron Ore colour in Astons. Each to their own though. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

SOLD - 64 plate Aleutian Silver Supercharged

SOLD - 63 plate Corris SDV6 Autobiography

Red is just the seats not the dash

The red is very bright - too bright for my taste - and I'd prefer a darker red. I have a Mercedes with a red interior which is the colour of raspberries and that is good but the aptly named pimento red is quite bright.

I think it only works with an exterior colour on the black-grey-silver-white axis. Mark

Tend to agree on the red being too bright and that is what I am posting.

Best next alternative seems to be Tan which again leaves the dash black which is what I prefer.

I thought there were two red options - red and black, where the use of red is more restrained, and red and red which is a riot.

I would be very careful about tan, important to see it for real first.

But ultimately, it's down to personal taste.

Alternatively, you might be able to persuade SVO to mix and match the red and black as you want but I have no idea of costs. Phil W has never told us (AFAIK) what the cost of his quite limited customisation was but you can bet it wasn't sixpence. Mark

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I had the Tan interior in my last Evoque and LR's idea of tan isn't mine.......... it is quite orange for tan, more a caramel colour. It isn't a light saddle sort of tan at all. Also it doesn't work with many of the exterior colours so becareful what exterior you choose. My Evoque was Zanzibar (metallic bronze) which is now available for the RRS2 and the Ebony/Tan interior worked well with that but I have seen a Santorini with Ebony Tan and it didn't work too well

At least fake tan won't show like denim dye does! I sold the car down in the Sarf East new owner is really happy to have an Evoque that is a bit unusual.................. I was pleased to be shot of it, but only because of poor build and problems with the DPF sensor after a gearbox ECU software upgrade caused it to continually go into meltdown!. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
