Hi

I have ordered my 16MY AB. Does anybody have an update on the Remote Climate Control as I get conflicting information. I understand it works by remotely starting the engine. One dealer says it's definitely on 16MY RRS and another says it isn't because it's illegal to leave an engine running unattended in the UK.

I currently have the £1k Park Heat option but would gladly spend it on something else if not required!

Does anybody have more info?

5. 16MY Technology Update
5.1. 16MY Land Rover InControlTM Technologies Update
Changes are introduced for the InControlTM technologies from 16MY, details as follows:  The collection of InControl Features are now named ‘InControl Touch Plus’.
 Renamed feature: InControlTM Remote -> InControlTM Protect.
 Restructuring of the offering: InControlTM Connect Pack has been created from 16MY to simplify customer choice. The pack will contain Wi-Fi, Apps and Remote Premium features.
 New feature added to the InControl Offering -> InControlTM Remote Premium.
Includes the following functionality which can be controlled via the InControl smartphone app:
> Remote Vehicle Interaction (lock/unlock; beep & flash; alarm reset)
> Note: Remote Engine Start & Remote Climate Control functionality are no longer part of 16MY MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Has this been offered on any JLR product?

Supposedly it is on the F Type but not heard anything.
