Had a USB stick go through the wash. Put a towel on top of a radiator, sat the USB stick on it and left it there for 3 days. Worked a treat. It has to dry out slowly and naturally.

She was punishing you for not doing it properly. It takes at least 8 hours if you do it properly

Re Keys. Take the battery out and dry as much as you can and stick it in a sealed jar of uncooked rice. The rice absorbs the water, good for phones too. Keep sealed for a few days and voila! MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys.

or pop into a sport shop and take all the small silica gel packets out the shoe boxes and put in a jar, if they dont mind of course. i'm not condoning theft
