2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Eaters, unfortunately we have to climb first to Beattock Summit on the M74 and then up to Shap Summit on the M6 before coasting down hill to south Lancs and the flat, and there's the very good likelihood of South West winds on the nose going south that push you north! I invariably get my best MPG on the M40 regardless of the direction. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Java Black

Fill up today calculates 18.63mpg on LPG at 61p/litre

Unleaded at the same garage was £1.21/litre so 1.98 x 18.63 = 36.88mpg equivalent Shocked

4.2sc

My SVR has just hit 6000 miles and I went to Hereford from Cardiff today. Went through the Brecon Beacons so not all fast roads, a lot of A and B roads, and still managed to get "indicated" 28.3mpg, so allowing for the fiddle factor still pleased with that. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I must be doing something wrong or I just have a heavy right foot as my 3.0 sdv6 only seems to be getting 24 mpg but only had it 3 weeks and not done any long journeys yet.

Still better than I was getting from my M3 so I'm not complaining Thumbs Up 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Is that on the trip, or actual?

I had mine about 4 weeks and am finding the trip is about 20% optimistic

hmmm, third fill up since getting this car and the trip is reading a consistent 20% more than actually being achieved.

So those of you that are thinking you're getting 30mpg or more (3.0 V6), probably aren't, by a long way.

I've been driving real steady, with a good mix of long and short runs, and averaging a real 26.45 mpg whilst the trip says 32.30.

Cant believe the trip is so inaccurate (and optimistic, fancy that!). My old merc was always within 0.5mpg of reality!

The mpg readout on my TDV8 sits at around 27 mpg (mix of 2-4 mile runs and some 40 mile trips). Actual is about 25mpg.

Overall since March last year (so virtually 12 months) my mpg has been 25.4 which includes 2 trips to Aberdeenshire and one or two to the west country Robin

I put my foot down to pass someone on the Paddock Wood bypass the other day. Great feeling. Thumbs Up
Then saw a black dot in my mirror and as I pulled into the inside lane a SC RRS whooshed past me as if I was standing still. Bow down Bow down
Great fun! Laughing Robin
