Crystal Serum - Long Term Durability

I think it was about 12 months ago when some people here started to give their RRSs the Crystal Serum treatment.

When I bought my RRS in December last year I did consider Crystal Serum but was just slightly nervous as there were only a handful of approved detailers and I wanted to know how it holds up long term.

So for those who had their cars done, how is the coating holding up and how easy or difficult is it to maintain?

Andorra 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

15 months in and CS is amazing .... really easy to clean , clearly still adhering to the paintwork brilliantly

Maintenance is as easy as it gets

It comprises a quick wash followed by a quick spray of Gtech C2 V3 and the beading and appearance is as good as day 1

Link below shows my wheels with 6 months of brake dust build up . They came up effortlessly and like brand new.

Am I please at having the CS done ... Hell yes

I looks like it's got several years life left in it yet

Has anyone got an idea of cost to have a Range Rover sport coated with the Getecniq crystal serum ?

I know all about how good this product is and with a 7 year warranty I think my new purchase of a 13 plate sport will be getting it done but just need to find a approved Getechnic dealer.

You need to visit this site http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/,,,,as for price it all depends how much work is involved before hand getting swirl marks removed ect & if you need wheels, brake calipers coating aswell.

There are two versions. A Crystal Serum and a Crystal Serum Light. The CS Light is around 90% of what the full fat serum does.

CS light can be applied by any good detailer however CS full fat can only be applied by accredited Gtechniq approved detailers. This is because if it's applied incorrectly it needs to be sanded off!

I have had my 458 and wife's Evoque both treated with CS Light - applied by my regular detailer at his workshop under lights. Both cars needed some paint correction before it was applied but the results were amazing. My MY17 being delivered in march will be going down this route too.

Much recommended Thumbs Up

if you want details of my detailer drop me a PM...

I had my RRS treated with Crystal Serum Black.

Very impressed with the result and mostly, how easy it is to clean and to maintain the finish. I used to use Swisswax but the Crystal Serum Quick Detailer is so much easier to maintain the finish.

I had mine done by Bellissimoto in London and the guy there (Andrew) did a superb job on my car and my son's Renault Megane RS.

The link that somebody previously posted is a pretty good indication of costs.
