Six year service

Car is presently in my local dealer for service, but I have decided to keep the car as it is 6yrs old and never any grief apart from bushes etc.
Due to keeping car and not being anyway mechanically minded,i read as many maintenance posts as possible and learnt a lot of words but not their meaning!
therefore I have brought forward the 3 belt changes, oil pump replacement, diff oil changes, transfer case(they missed at the 5y),tansmissin filter change etc. I am hoping these are main preventative issues
while they were replacing flexible brake lines, they rang to say the fixed lines were corroded and would fail mot.they also informed me the engine sump was badly corroded near the temp sensor and needed sump replacing.
anyone had sump problems?
thanks for all the info and advice I wouldn't have known where to start when getting maintenance done,as opposed to blindly asking for a 6yr service.
the car has done 39k in 6yrs(tdv6 hse)
I will post when I know what state belts and fluids were in for a low mileage car--may be interesting

Its disappointing that the fixed brake pipes are corroding at 6 years, was it mentioned before at the previous MoT - I'd be tempted to raise it with LRS

^^^ I might be inclined to get a second opinion if that's an option.

It might niggle if you don't get them done. I'd always err on the side of caution with anything to do with brakes but I'd not want to be taken for a mug either.
