I hope I'm wrong but I've realised that because I'm in Australia, the more powerful SDV6 comes at a premium of around AUD$20k, and is sold as the Hybrid (HEV) model.

I believe the premium includes the dynamic package and as far as I can see the HEV can't be purchased without the dynamic package, just as a regular HSE

Kinda gutted as I was excited about the new SDV6 but am not prepared to pay over $20k for the pleasure.

I hope I'm wrong

The "old" SDV6 with 292hp is still an excellent engine, it delivers effortless power, is quiet and suprisingly good on fuel!

Test drive one and you won't be disappointed. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

You're probably not wrong at all about the "old" SDV6.

I can't wait to start looking properly. Just waiting to move into the new house I've just bought (currently tenanted) before I start the actual Search

Will more than likely be an SDV6 in either HSE or AB Guise.

I'll need to get the dealer to explain things to me, because after studying the spec sheets from
The LR Australia website, comparing HSE vs Autobiography, the only extra options I can see which come with the AB are the Meridian Surround system, upgraded Wheels, different headlining and two tone AB Leather. The comfort and luxury packs (which include the 18 way seats) are listed as no cost options for the HSE??

No adaptive cruise control etc with the AB, so(at the moment) can't see what you get for the extra $24k
