Just downloaded an update for the InControl Remote App, Version 1.32.

There's a bug in the application not recognising the country of use correctly, so the word "Fuel" has been replaced by the word "Gas" and the demo has the car parked somewhere in the US.

Mind you, the developers are in fantasy land, they seem to think the range remaining in the demo is 821 miles. Of course.

So, if you are currently running V1.31, I wouldn't bother to upgrade.

My iphone is set to update apps automatically. Just checked and mine is version 1.32 and absolutely fine...still says FUEL

Thanks for that. I downloaded it first onto an iPad first which is where I saw the problem. Will try deleting it and reinstall from scratch. Mark

Reinstalled on an iPad; same results, expect the application is not supported on an iPad, only an iPhone, which begs the question why it's installable on an iPad. Mark

Interesting one! Not tried on an ipad!

Hi Mark,

At present the app is intended for use on the iPhone, however due to the fact that the App Store allows iPad users to download and run iPhone Apps, it can be used on the iPad. We are aware this can cause some functionality concerns at this time.

If you check in your iPad settings and ensure that the language is set under the International setting to British English, rather than English, hopefully this should resolve your concern.

On an iPhone this is not required and should auto select.

It maybe that the 3g signal isn't good enough and has reverted to GPRS or the wifi isn't good enough - when I use my InControl Remote on my ship's satelitte Internet connection and the link is poor I often cannot get all the info from the car or my password isn't recognised. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
