Front Brembo Discs & pads replacement on RRS TDV8

Hi All,
I would normally go with genuine OE parts, but I was curious what else people have used. I need to fit new discs and pads to the front of my RRS TDV8. Smile

Cheers

I have the 2.7 HSE 07 with brembos and I replaced my pads all round and my front discs with parts supplied by Advanced Factors, they have a selection of makers but I stuck with Brembo and I have had no problems with them, no squeaks etc as you can sometimes get from 'cheaper' pad makes. 2.7 HSE, Audi A6 Exec, Honda Accord Exec, Volvo 440, Volvo 360

I got brembos all round disks and pads from advanced for my TDV8. To be honest I'm going to stick with OE next time, I get a bit of squeaking especially from the backs

I replaced my front discs with drilled and grooved discs from Island4x4 and fitted Green stuff brake pads. Done this about 4 months ago and all has been good so far, no noises at all.

jmcvs - do you mind sharing the part numbers for your brakes and discs.

mnk,

If you choose the Brembo Drilled and Grooved I suggest you ask the supplier if they were supplied from Brembo like that, or whether they have been Machined by a Third Party, as when I was looking for some even Brembo themselves do not list Drilled and Grooved in there Catalogue for the Sport with the exception of their Big Brake Kit Upgrades which cost about 6k for the complete vehicle. However they may do them now.

Cheers
Col

I'd think about ordering a set of RRS supercharged discs and calipers, I've purchased them myself on US ebay. 2012 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 3.0 SDV6

Just ordered a set of Britpart drilled and grooved and a set of EBC green stuff pads as recommended by Jmcvs. Will install over the weekend if they arrive on time.
