hi guys and girls im new to the forum and i have a few questions about the range rover sport.


the first question is whats the difference between the uk spec and japanese spec dash on the 2011 sport im not after electrical differeces just the difference with the carcase itself

well after realising i had 3 uk spec dash tops i looked myself and found they are the same and the colour is ocean

Well I have joined to maybe give advice and get some in return so as I have managed to get hold of 9 of these dash boards brand new I will be selling them on various selling sites I need to know if they are the same as uk spec fitment wise as they are right hand drive

i think the best way to find out if it fits is to get someone to donate me their car for testing so im looking for someone with a slightly damaged top dash who is willing to let me change it for a new one free of charge this may mean i need to modify the new dash to fit, but looking at the dash i can see no difference from jap to uk spec
i will add some pics of the dash colour as its not black its a blue colour.

this is in o way me trying to sell them on the forum i am just trying to find out if they fit uk spec so i can list them for sale on other web sites

no i havent either abssport but they are jap spec and as i have a trim shop it wouldnt take a lot to change them to black

Can't imagine that they would build a different fitting dash for the small Japanese market. Wouldn't be worth the design and build time. Bodsys Brake Bible

i can assure you its genuine lr they are all boxed up with lr part number labels on and they came from a main dealer all invoiced and paid for so nothing is dodgy about these dashes

99.9% sure they are the same dashboards, same fitment etc
Only difference could be is some Japanese writing somewere inside

Maybe if you upload a couple pictures we could visually see if there is any small differences

yes ill upload some pics the only thing i could see is a hole where the dash meet the window on the plastic that could be different maybe for a sensor of some sort
