Hi Folks.
Does any one know what the best setting are on the stereo?
I have 4 options on my screen which are Stereo, Meridian, Dolby Pro Logic llx, and Dts Neo:6
I like my music but not up to speed with all the settings.
Any advise would be great

I want to like the meridian....... But Dolby for me is miles better MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

If you want hear your music how the artist, producer and mixing engineer wanted you to then listen in stereo. Very little music is mixed for those surround sound settings.
Of course it's its all down to the individual so what ever you enjoy, enjoy it, there are no rules. SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!

Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!

I find that the Dolby became too "Treble'y" for my liking at any volume over 20-25, Meridian seemed to be a better all rounder. Again, thats just me and to be fair it was tested whilst a friend (an audiophile) was playing Chase&Status (I think thats what they were called) from his iphone in lossless (whatever that is)!!
