I've been lurking on the site for a while and as I'm about to move back to the UK (I'm in the Army) I've found an RRS I'm interested in.

I'm in touch with the trader going through the points in the very helpful buyers guide (thanks!!)

Helpfully the RAC have quoted £400+ to inspect it, but moving back to the UK = other things to spend £400 on!

Wondering if anyone is in the area (Watford) to have a look at it for me ... happy to stump up ££

Stolen recovered needs some investigation I think. Not trying to put you off but I would expect you to want to know more about that.

Just from the pictures; that interior shot seems to show that the standard radio head unit has been replaced with a screen of some sort (or is that an option I'm ignorant of?)
The wheels are from a later 2010 MY?
The nearside rear light cluster is new as the offside looks much older suggesting been some damage.
The side vents are not original.
Aftermarket chrome covers on the mirrors but these can usually be removed.
The tailgate area above the reg. plate looks a mess ( you'd think the dealer would have cleaned it up).

It's had a satnav/ DVD head unit fitted, I'd clocked the wheels - apparently they are genuine.

Plastic tat covers would probably end up in the bin - if I buy it.

The SE didn't get Satnav or handsfree phone as standard equipment until 2007MY IIRC so a previous owner seems tro have butchered the dash to fit what looks like a double DIN unit and may have specced the handsfree system as an option as it couldn't be retrofitted. It also looks to me like the driver's seat may have re-upholstered, it is very shiney for the leather used by LR on SE's. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
