Hi Folks,

I have a Fuji White HSE arriving on the 1st March as 15 plate. It's a pretty basic spec car but I am looking at colour coding the side sills and lower bumper inserts. I have also seen a car locally with the Range Rover Vogue Autobiography style 707 Alloy wheels and wondered if anyone on here has fitted these to their car. There are a few sets on ebay and all sellers tell me they would fit a RRS?

I'm 99% sure they will fit but wait for conformation from one of the experts or a site sponsor...

They do look good on the RRS

Getting the sills sprayed is a must imo.... some members here have had very sensible dealer quotes...

If you can get a sensible price 1k or under.... i'd always get it done in house

Maybe if a mod can move this to the Tyres and Wheels section I could get a response? I have checked the offsets of these 22" Vogue Autobiography wheels against those 22" wheels available for the RRS and the tyre sizes and offsets are exactly the same so I can't see why they won't fit - they seem identical in specs just a different design.

Haha no the dealer is 50 miles from me down in Surrey! The salesgirl keeps telling me that the bodyshop is a separate entity hence why it would cost so much she advises I can get it cheaper elsewhere

There are a lot of copies of these wheels on ebay. Personally, i would only buy genuine L/R wheels, as copies may not be up to the weight of a RRS. They are cheap for a reason.... I know the price for genuine wheels is scary, but what price do you put on safety

Certainly not copies - these are RR wheels stamped with all markings direct from Overfinch UK - customer has upgraded his wheels to OF wheels.


On the Side Sills Issue I have called 6 approved RR bodyshops - 4 said they can't do it as it would not look right. 1 wanted £1500 + VAT and one will provide a quote by email.

Has anyone else had any joy painting their sills around London!?!?

My dealer ( chipperfeild ) got mine done at the bodyshop (off site ) they use, cost me about £1200 inc vat, but I did get the centre sections done as well as the sills and quaters 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

Update: The supplying dealer (Harwoods Croydon) have agreed to paint my side sills and lower bumper inserts in Fuji White, side vents, front grill, mirror caps, boot strip and front and back lower skid pans in gloss black all for £1300 - result

PS the bodyshop I was waiting for to call me back quoted £2000 + VAT - are some of these guys on Dope? I could get a car resprayed in that much

Sorry I didn't get what you are trying to say?

Edit - Ok I get what you are saying now - I think they meant that the finish won't be "factory spec" and that the fuji white sills and lower bumper inserts will look like a different shade of white when compared to the other panels. I doubt it if done in the right way!
