Thanks guys.
I'll still be around. Like to keep abreast of all that's happening on the RRS 2 front.
And in the back of my mind I'm thinking SVR, SVR Whistle

Ironically just did the reverse.

RRS Dynamic delivered Monday, RS4 having owned for 2 years in PX.

RS4 is good car, but nowhere near the B7 I had previously. Honestly won't miss it.

You'll love the HSE dynamic. Stick it in dynamic and give it some stick. It still amazes me something this big handles so well!!
Had a run out in it in the bad weather yesterday and it just inspires confidence.
Don't think the RS will be the same sadly.
I'm really going to miss it.

I think you'll find the RS4 dated to be honest, they've been out a long while now!

No way of keeping your RRS? Sad Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

I've driven the RS loads of times now ( to try and convince myself; dealer prob fed up by now ! ) and I do like it. I've specced it to the same level as my sport.
I tried to just buy another smaller car for my wife but she doesn't want another car sitting outside!
I know it's an old model and FYI the order book is closed now, but there is nothing else that does it for me at the moment......except an SVR 😄
I don't want to get rid of the sport but bizarrely for me , I can see her point.
I've got other vehicles for work and I've only done 4500 miles in a year.
I'll miss it massively!!

Have you actually signed and committed ?.

I only ask as I think you will be massively disappointed within a week or so.

It's basically an A4 with a little more character....and no torque whatsoever.

Lost £18000 in 22 months on trade in, 21000 on the clock. Shocking in all honesty.

Yeh, ordered now.
If I'd traded in the RRS it would have done 14k.........in a year 😳
In the end I sold it for 6k less than I paid. ( though I've not had the money yet! )
Like I said, there was nothing else that I was that enamoured with.
May have been tempted by the new c63 estate, but it's not out yet.
A friend just traded a two year old BMW 3 series touring and lost 20k!

I've found the best vehicle for holding on to its value is a VW Transporter VAN!!
I have one now that I bought new for 29k and have someone who wants it for 12k.
It's five years old with 86000 miles on it!!

Finally got rid of my HSE dynamic.
For a car as supposedly in demand as this I really struggled to find someone who wanted it.
Lots of interest and offers but as soon as the 15 plate came out nobody would even bid on it. WBAC price dropped by 3k in a week!
Sold it through a dealer in the end and cleared 62k. It was up for 65 and it went for 63,750.
I thought values would have held up a bit better than this, but hey ho it's gone now.
I'd like to know what I'd have got as a px against a new RRS though!

According to my main dealer the new engine will cause a slight hit in desirability of the older cars hitting values.

Why did land rover upgrade the engine so soon after being launched as the RRS2 in 2013?

Im certainly not complaining, my brand new cayanne v6 is 262bhp and feels very fast, bu this new my15 sport should feel much faster than my cayenne no? On order expected October 16 macan turbo
Current car MY15 Hse Dynamic
Cayenne v6 MY64
RRS MY13 Black edition
Discovery MY61 xs
RRS TDV6 MY07
XC90 Executive
Yada yada yada

The engine change was a surprise to everyone and was not expected the way it is with the new disco sport.

I have just come out of a Cayenne D (same BHP as yours) and there is no comparison mate the L494 blows it away! It is also way more refined than the Cayenne engine so much smoother and the Torque is immense!

Cheers mate thats great to hear i have been wondering about whether its the same or better, i was obviously hoping it was better!

If people think the RRS2 has ambitious economy figures then you would be stunned how far off my Cayenne is from its published figures, cant wait for my new car next month since the reports sound real in this respect.

I need to phone around a few porsche specialist to see who wants it, do you have any good experiences selling your porker hopefully with relative ease or did you keep yours? On order expected October 16 macan turbo

Good luck with selling your Porsche. Hope it won't be as arduous as it was for me shifting my RRS2 !
Your right about the fuel economy figures. Mine averaged about 28mpg on a run with about 20 ish around town. It hadn't done that many miles so perhaps that was why.
You will love the RRS though. The cayenne very dated now, even the facelift you've got!
