Timed Pre-Heater

Hi Folks

Has anyone retrofitted/coded the Timed Pre-Heat option onto the L494 yet? I know this can be done for the D3/D4 but wondered if it can be done for the L494.

Gap IIDTool + CCF + Antena and remote fob??? Just wondered if anyone had done it yet?

You can enable it, but you only get the fbh if you factory order the remote park option I'm afraid Big Cry

Have investigated thoroughly thanks to a couple of members here Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi Bodsy

Thanks for the reply. Dan at duckworths has a deal on the Webasto FBH at the moment, do you think its possible to retrofit this into a L494? I presume the loom plugs would be in place for a FBH but not sure whether the D3/D4 model would fit or whether the comms would work if its a different canbus?

I expect you have thought about all of these options and expect its a negative ????

Cheers

No, different heater.

You also need to drop the fuel tank, , new wires, pipe work, fbh fuel pump, water pipe work, water pump, reciever, aeriel, plipper and enabling.

I don't think you'll get many brave souls retrofitting this just yet with the level of work required. Bodsys Brake Bible

Bodsy as you are a man in the know, a guy at work has the new one 3ltr diesel. Will this not have the FBH as standard? I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

His is the new shape 2014. I just presumed they'd be standard on being as though I had one on my old version. The reason I ask is because I fitted mine yesturday from Bas amd he loved the idea Smile I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

Ah...ok...that makes sense Bodsy. I have not looked under the covers of the l494 yet and presumed that all of the pipe work would have been in place like the old ones.

It's a bit too new to start poking around to that extent....I'll go back to putting the body back on my D3 instead Laughing
