How weird is this...

...and I don't even have a sunroof!!

Sorry for the bad pic but it's dark out there and I'm sure it won't be as visible in the morning.

My only guess can be that all the roof panels are made with that cutout and the glass/is only installed when customer specs a sunroof?

I don't have a sunroof, but the snow has revealed a sunroof shape.

Lol thats pretty mad. I'm guessing all roofs are constructed exactly the same then glass is popped in if customer orders it! I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

That is a cool picture. As said above must be a standard thing on the tool press when making the roof some get pressed out some don't. Thumbs Up

Its purely down to the roof lining. They have indentations on the reverse of them as its the same overall roof lining that is used for the sunroof version and the indentations are where the machine cutouts are made.

Because they're compressed at that point, it lets more heat through, hence the sunroof outline. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Have you guys never seen this on a car? Wink

My bonnet and roof often have snow outlines. I guess it is more obvious on a bonnet and when you open it, you can see the panel structure.
