My Range Rover Sport is no more

Had a accident in the RRS the other day basically was cut up badly i swerved hit the kurb hard bounced off drifted a bit then slid back into kurb hard again mounted the verge and basically rolled to a stop.

Wondered what your opinions are on the below damage.

Obviously this is only what I can see there is prob loads more I cant

Side airbags both sides + headlining
Front seats + airbags
Headlining
2 x 22" alloys
2 x 22" tyres
Suspension
Steering knackered
Rear damage as wheel wobble all over show
Sensors as dash is now a xmas tree with errors
2" gap in boot on left

Its a 2006 HSE done 62k with full history and all the usual issues done

Whats your thoughts written off or repairable ?

J

It doesn't sound promising for a repair. Not sure I'd want it back if it's got the damage you say... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I hope for your sake that they do. Shocked
Without seeing the damage, its difficult to judge, but it doesn't sound good. Prepare for a single figure payout offer off your insurance company should they write it off.
Hope you get sorted asap.

It's amazing what they will fix! We were in a nasty accident last Christmas Eve, got T-boned by a ford focus who jumped a red light. Initially quote for repair was £6k on a circa £17-£18k car. Final total came out at £19.5k!! I wish they had written it off! 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE- Cairns Blue with 22" Stormers

Doesnt sound very promising, more then likely to be written off, id be suprised if they didnt.

As to repairing, any repairs possible with the right person with the know how, but more then likely, you wouldnt want to jump back into that. Would never drive the same, these jeeps are built tight & strong, a whack just takes all the rigidy away.

Upload some pictures uf you have any, that way we can advise you better by looking at the pictures.

If you have gaps you have a bent shell/chassis. Suspension is usually designed to collapse rather than bending things further in. Weak spot on these is behind rear wheels.
At 2006 they won't entain looking further as salvage on RRS is way up there but don't be surprised if the car appears again as someone will fix it. Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
